Summary: A poem about Justin's feelings for Brian since day one.

	Young Heart Unraveled

Just seventeen, such an innocent mind
Searching the streets, not sure what he will find
Meeting seduction and chance in the face
No turning back, it's a chance that he takes
Home with a stranger, a fear and a thrill
Hormones and wonder, a mix that could kill
Pleasure unbound, what he sought, what he gets
He begs every moment, don't end it just yet
He now knows for sure and in that there's no shame
He's changed now forever, he can't be the same
I love you, he says to the one for whom he feels
You can't, says that one, because love isn't real
Love is for people to justify sex
But it's all just a game played by dykes and by hets
You were mine just last night babe, but don't push your luck
You're nothing to me now, just yesterday's fuck
That's how the world is, kid - learn it and deal
Reality's bitten, and it's realer than real
Don't follow me around, it just brings you more drama
Dry your eyes, wipe your nose and go back to your mama
The words sting like acid but teach him so well
A lesson of lifetimes, that love can be hell
But he still feel so strongly for the one from that night
And thinks maybe he'll love me if I put up the fight
Just seventeen, but his will is persistent
Even when he that he loves is resistant
The heart of a cynic is peppered with doubt
But he knows he can show him what love is about
He tries to pry into that cold stubborn heart
The result is progression, not huge, but a start
They now share a bond that still holds to this day
In their own little queer nontraditional way
